Privacy.
What I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do about it.
Who I am
This website is run by Milo Coldren, a sole trader in New Zealand. I am the privacy officer. You can reach me at milocoldren@gmail.com.
What I collect
When you send an enquiry I collect the details you type in: your name, email address, business name, what you need and your message. I also record which page you sent it from and where you arrived from (for example a search or a link), so I can see which marketing is working.
I also use Google Analytics to see how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, what device is used, roughly where visitors are and how they arrived. It uses cookies and similar technologies, and the data is held by Google, including on servers outside New Zealand. You can block it in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on. I do not use advertising trackers on this site, and I do not sell or share your information for marketing.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry, to discuss and price work you ask about, and to understand which pages bring people here. I will only use your details for those purposes.
Where it is stored
The site is hosted by Netlify, and enquiries are stored by Netlify and emailed to me. Netlify stores data on servers outside New Zealand, including in the United States. The site also loads its typeface from Google Fonts and uses Google Analytics, which means your browser contacts Google when you visit. I only send enquiry details to the people who need them to deal with it.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to reply and to follow up on any work we agree. If an enquiry goes nowhere, I delete it within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email milocoldren@gmail.com and I will respond within 20 working days, as the Privacy Act 2020 requires.
If you are not happy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
Changes
If I change this policy I will update this page and the date below. Last updated 7 October 2026.
